Nandina Paria is a seasoned Research Scientist at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, specializing in Pediatric Orthopedic Disease Genomics since September 2011. Previously, Nandina held postdoctoral research positions focused on Disease Genomics and Molecular Genetics at Texas A&M University, where research included the role of testis microRNAs in stallion fertility. A doctoral study concentrated on Y chromosome genes related to male fertility in horses. Earlier research experience includes roles at Texas A&M Health Science Center in Molecular Biology and Medical Physiology, as well as a project assistant position at the University of Calcutta, focused on human disease genetics. Nandina's education encompasses a Ph.D. in Biomedical Science/Genetics and an M.S. in Biophysics and Molecular Biology from Texas A&M University and University of Calcutta, respectively.
