Sharna Pascolo

Sharna Pascolo has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Sharna is currently the Director of Governance & Operations at the Texas Society of Architects, a position they have held since January 2022. Prior to that, from March 2016 to January 2022, they served as the Program Director for the TxA Board of Directors, curating meaningful programs for the organization's leadership.

Before joining the Texas Society of Architects, Sharna worked as the Managing Director at Penny Loafer PR, a music PR company specializing in promoting Australian and American musicians. Sharna'srole involved bridging the gap between the two music scenes and working closely with artists to leave a mark in the industry.

In 2013, Sharna gained valuable experience through a 12-month F&B Internship at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans. Sharna achieved significant accomplishments during this period, including being awarded "Employee Of The Month" and becoming a certified trainer for Starbucks, where they successfully led a team and trained members for certification. Sharna also worked as a banquets server, catering to large-scale events and VIP clients. Sharna'sexceptional performance earned their recognition with a "Magnolia Pin" from clients.

Prior to that, Sharna worked as a Recruitment Consultant at PeopleCo. from October 2010 to April 2013, and as a Wedding Coordinator at The Willows Reception Venue from August 2009 to October 2010. In these roles, they managed end-to-end projects, coordinated with suppliers and clients, and ensured the smooth execution of events.

Sharna's early work experience includes a position as a Group Reservations Coordinator at Stamford Plaza Melbourne from August 2007 to August 2009.

With their diverse background in program management, public relations, hospitality, event coordination, and recruitment, Sharna brings a well-rounded skill set to their current role as Director of Governance & Operations.

From 2005 to 2007, Sharna Pascolo attended the William Angliss Institute of TAFE, where they pursued an Advanced Diploma in Events Management and Hospitality Management.
