Lauren Maline

Lauren Maline is an experienced animal care professional with a strong background in marine biology and wildlife rehabilitation. Currently serving as an Animal Care Technician at Texas State Aquarium since October 2015, Lauren is also a Biological Science Technician at Padre Island National Seashore, where responsibilities include monitoring and caring for nesting and stranded sea turtles. Previous experience includes internships at Conservancy of Southwest Florida, Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium, Blair County Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, and Mote Marine Laboratory, where Lauren developed skills in animal care, rehabilitation, administration of medications, and public education. A graduate of the University of Saint Francis with a Bachelor of Arts in Marine Biology and Environmental Education, Lauren combines practical experience with a solid educational foundation.
