Dr. Marcus Dumas Psyd

Dr. Marcus Dumas PsyD is an experienced professional in clinical and sport psychology, currently serving as the Director of Clinical and Sport Psychology at Texas Tech Athletics since August 2023. Previous roles include Sport Psychology Post Doctoral Fellow at the University of Southern California from August 2021 to July 2023, and a variety of internships and practicums in psychology at institutions such as Florida Atlantic University and Providence College. Dr. Dumas also held positions outside of academia and psychology, including Fleet Service Agent at American Airlines and Assistant Manager at Hollister Co. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Psychology in Counseling from Springfield College, a Master of Counseling from Springfield College, a Master of Education in Physical Education and Coaching from the University of Arkansas at Monticello, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Central Arkansas.
