James Mauldin

James Mauldin currently serves as the Vice Chancellor and Chief Financial Officer for the Texas Tech University System since January 2023. Prior to this role, James held the position of Vice President of Treasury Management at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport from September 2019 to January 2023 and served as an Adjunct Finance Professor at Dallas Baptist University from 2008 until January 2023. James's experience includes roles such as Associate Vice Chancellor for Treasury and Interim CFO at the University of North Texas System and Director of Finance/CFO for the City of Cedar Hill. Additionally, James worked as Treasurer/Assistant Director of Finance for the City of Fort Worth and held various treasury positions at True, Cadbury Schweppes, Valor Telecom, and The Chase Manhattan Bank. James earned an MBA in Finance from Dallas Baptist University, completing studies from 2005 to 2007.
