An Chi Chen

An Chi Chen is a Mechatronics Engineer at Texavie since March 2024, specializing in the prototyping of wearable technology devices with a significant enhancement of firmware code for improved data transfer and energy efficiency. Previous experiences include serving as a Course Assistant at The Johns Hopkins University, where An Chi received the Outstanding Course Assistant Award, and contributing as a Junior Mechatronics Engineer at Hatch, focusing on technology development and furnace design projects in Southern Africa. An Chi also tutored engineering courses at the University of Cape Town, led the coordination of a conference for Hatch as a Vacation Student, and designed test procedures for Durban South Toyota. An Chi holds a Master's degree in Robotics from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Cape Town. Notably, An Chi has received awards for outstanding student presentations and achievement among bursary students.
