John Wells

John Wells is an experienced Industrial Engineer with a robust background in manufacturing and continuous improvement. Currently serving as an Industrial Engineer II at Blue Origin since July 2024, John previously held similar positions at Textron GSE and Textron Specialized Vehicles, where responsibilities included optimizing assembly line processes, implementing new technologies, and managing engineering changes. John's early career included a role as a Continuous Improvement Co-Op at North American Lighting, Inc., focusing on lean principles across multiple assembly lines, as well as a position as a Computer Aided Design Drafter for Sherrie Perkins Design, where design skills were applied to create CAD blueprints. John holds a degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Auburn University, earned in 2021.
