Marta Halliday

Marta Halliday has a diverse work experience in payroll and human resources. Marta started their career in 2010 as a Senior Payroll and Employment Law Specialist at Ekkom Sp. z o.o Sp. K., where they managed international payroll accounts for multiple companies and handled cross-border scenarios. Marta also supervised a team of junior payroll specialists and maintained employee documentation. In 2017, Marta joined PRA Health Sciences as an EMEA Payroll Specialist, focusing on payroll operations in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. After that, they worked at BDO UK LLP as a GPS Payroll Consultant, providing payroll consulting services. Currently, Marta is employed at TFS HealthScience - Contract Research Organization, where they have held the positions of Global Payroll Manager and Global Payroll and Total Rewards Director.

Marta Halliday's education history begins in 2003 when they enrolled at Wroclaw University of Economics in Poland. Marta pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Economics and completed their studies in 2008. After a gap of several years, they returned to education in 2018 and attended the University of Warwick (CIPP) to obtain a Foundation Degree Y1 in Payroll Management, which they completed in 2019.

In addition to their formal education, Marta has obtained various certifications to enhance their knowledge and skills in the field of Human Resources (HR). Marta received the following certifications: Certified HR Business Partner, ChatGPT for HR, Blockchain and HR, Certified People Analytics Specialist, Global Data Integrity, HR Data Visualization, and Certified Compensation & Benefits Professional. All these certifications were obtained from the AIHR | Academy to Innovate HR. Furthermore, they hold the SRF BTEC Level 3 Certificate in International Payroll Techniques from Pearson, earned in November 2021. Prior to these certifications, Marta obtained a Level 3 Diploma in Payroll Management from The Institute of Certified Bookkeepers in March 2017.
