Ian Buckley has extensive experience in financial roles, spanning various industries. Prior to their current position, Buckley held the role of CFO at Curve Games in 2021, where they managed financial functions for the company. Before that, they served as Interim CFO at Wildstone in 2020, providing financial guidance during a transitional period.
From 2015 to 2019, Buckley held the position of CFO at Global Live, the entertainment events division of Global. Ian successfully led the funding and acquisition of 15 music festivals and established a music venue business, demonstrating their financial and operational abilities in the entertainment industry.
Prior to their role at Global Live, Buckley held the position of Director of Financial Control at Vue Entertainment in 2014. Ian played a critical role in the acquisition of Space, an Italian cinema group, and managed the restructure of the finance team.
Before entering the entertainment industry, Buckley gained substantial experience in financial management at Travelex from 2007 to 2014. During their tenure, they centralized the global financial planning and analysis function, took responsibility for global card products, and chaired the group investment committee.
Buckley began their career as an Audit Manager at Deloitte & Touche in 1995, specializing in the Middle Market Group. Ian managed audit activities for various clients until joining Belle Property as the Group Financial Controller in 2001.

Ian Buckley attended Whitgift School from 1983 to 1991. Ian then pursued their undergraduate studies at the University of Warwick from 1992 to 1995, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics with Second Class Honors, Upper Division (2:1). Following this, Ian Buckley enrolled at ICAEW from 1995 to 1999 and attained the degree designation of Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA).
