Thomas Hayes

Thomas Hayes has a strong background in mechanical maintenance and asset management. Thomas started their career as a Maintenance Engineer at Fine Tubes Ltd. in 2001 and worked there until 2012. Thomas then joined Schlumberger, where they held the position of Senior Marine Technician and later became the Manager of Asset Management. In 2018, Thomas joined Magseis Fairfield ASA as a Shift Leader Mechanic and was later promoted to Chief Mechanic. Currently, they are the Chief Mechanic at TGS, starting in 2023. Throughout their career, Thomas has been responsible for organizing shifts, managing maintenance requirements, and purchasing materials and supplies to ensure operational efficiency within the seismic departments. Thomas has a proven track record in quick fault diagnosis, rectification of unplanned maintenance, and minimizing downtime.

Thomas Hayes attended Plymouth College of Further Education.
