Lena Campbell

Lena Wiger is an experienced Embedded Software Engineer at Thales Defense & Security, Inc. since July 2020. Previously, Lena served as a German Department Tutor at the Virginia Tech Student Success Center from August 2018 to July 2020, assisting students in their studies. During a summer internship at Framatome in 2019, Lena developed a Python automation tool that significantly reduced the analysis time for Small Break Loss of Coolant Accidents in nuclear reactors by 200 man-hours. Earlier roles included a childcare provider for three children and support staff at COALFIRE PIZZA. Lena holds dual Bachelor's Degrees in Mechanical Engineering and German from Virginia Tech, earned between 2016 and 2020.
