Patricia Portela

Patricia Portela has a strong background in operations and management. Patricia has worked for Thales Defense & Security, Inc. as the Operations Director for the Iberian Region & Turkey since 2023. Prior to that, they were the Operations Director for Thales from 2022 to 2023. Patricia also held various roles at Thales España from 2011 to 2022, including CIO & Real Estate & General Purchasing, where they focused on leadership development, resource optimization, cost management, and internal customer satisfaction. Patricia began their career at Thales IS in 2001 as the Central Operations Manager, responsible for departments such as Purchasing, Real Estate, IT&IS, and Internal Corporate Applications. Before joining Thales, they worked at Yoplait as R. Compras and at BBVA in customer support.

Patricia Portela has a diverse education history spanning over several years. Their education journey began in 1994, when they enrolled at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. There, they pursued a degree in Administration and Business Management, completing their studies in 1998.

In 2002, Patricia took a course at AERCE, specializing in Purchasing Management. Simultaneously, they pursued an MBA with a specialization in Marketing at the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (U.N.E.D.).

From 2003 to 2004, Patricia furthered their education by completing an MBA with a specialization in Digital Marketing at U.N.E.D.

In 2012, they attended the Universidad Francisco de Vitoria for the Leadership Development Program, focusing on developing leadership skills.

Continuing their professional development, Patricia enrolled in the Escuela Europea de Coaching from 2013 to 2014 to become an Executive Coach. Additionally, in 2014 and 2015, they completed a Practitioner Program in Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP) with G. Bertolotto at IPH.

In 2015, Patricia pursued studies in Emotional Intelligence at UNIR - La Universidad en Internet, specifically in the field of leadership and self-management. Patricia also attended training programs at AEC, the European Coaching Institute, and TU (Paris & Stuttgart), focusing on innovation, coaching, and management, respectively.

Patricia furthered their coaching knowledge in 2016 by undertaking a program on systemic leadership and team coaching at IDDI. U.Fco Vitoria.

In 2017, they participated in the Change Management program at Hucimi.

Patricia's desire to enhance their problem-solving skills led their to pursue an Expert degree in Complex Problem Solving at UNIR - La Universidad en Internet in 2020.

Additionally, Patricia engaged in professional development as an Agile Coach at Equipo F. Scrum in 2020, focusing on Agile Values.

Lastly, in the same year, they completed a Neurocoaching & Neuroliderazgo program at GemmaConsulting.
