Ramon Tovar

Ramon Tovar is a Junior Software Engineer at Thales Defense & Security, Inc., since July 2022, following a successful internship as a Software Engineer Intern within the Digital Systems team. Tovar focused on flight simulation projects utilizing technologies such as Varjo XR and Unreal Engine. Prior experiences include a Patient Care Orderly at St. Vincent's Private Hospital, where responsibilities grew to include patient preparation for surgical procedures, and a Technical Support & Receptionist role at Lane Cove Family Medical Practice during the COVID-19 vaccination rollout. Additional roles range from a Landscaper at Dirty Planting to a Junior ESD Consultant at Certified Energy, with earlier experience as a Games Dealer at The Star Entertainment Group. Ramon Tovar is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Software Engineering at the University of Technology Sydney, complementing a previous Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Mechanical Engineering.
