Ben Martin is an accomplished professional in the field of environmental engineering and wastewater treatment, currently serving as the Engineering Process R&D Manager at Thames Water since September 2015, where responsibilities include leading research focused on energy efficiency and cost-effective service provision. Prior to this role, Ben Martin worked at Cranfield University as a Research Fellow, engaging in significant projects such as a Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation initiative aimed at reinventing toilet technology and a transatlantic study on the environmental impacts of nanotechnology. Ben Martin holds a PhD in the removal and recovery of phosphorus from wastewater from Cranfield University and a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Science from Lancaster University.
