Rachel Kern

Rachel Kern has a diverse range of work experience as a product designer and designer. Rachel started their career at FossHillLabs in 2012 as a User Interface Designer. Rachel then worked at We Heart It from 2013 to 2015, where they focused on user interface and user experience design, marketing and social media design, branding, and print design. Rachel was also a Designer at Castle Global, Inc. from 2016 to 2017, where they were responsible for mobile and web design, wireframing concepts, conducting usability tests and interviews, and leading design initiatives. Rachel joined Bay Area Alternative Press in 2017 as a Design Coordinator, where they assisted on various projects, collaborated with clients, and taught design skills. Rachel briefly worked at Opendoor and Thanx as a Product Designer in 2018.

Rachel Kern completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Graphic Design from San Diego State University between 2008 and 2011. Rachel went on to pursue a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Design at the California College of the Arts from 2011 to 2013.
