Ben Skyring

Ben Skyring has extensive experience in engineering and technology leadership, currently serving as Senior Engineering Manager at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) since September 2023, focusing on Site Reliability Engineering, Operations, and DevOps practices. Prior to ABC, Ben held the position of Infrastructure Platforms Manager at icare NSW, leading a hybrid team of cloud and infrastructure engineers and managing various platforms including AWS and Azure. Ben's career includes significant roles such as Principal Consultant at Versent, Digital Platforms Manager and IT Infrastructure Architect at Sydney Water, and Senior Technical Lead at Westpac. Ben has also held various engineering roles at the University of New South Wales, The RDA Group, Allcom Networks, The Travel Corporation, and UNSW Student Union, showcasing a strong background in cloud adoption, virtualization, and infrastructure management. Ben possesses multiple Master of Business & Technology degrees from AGSM @ UNSW Business School.
