Martin Squires

Martin Squires is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in technology and property law. Currently serving as a Senior Lawyer at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation since February 2023, Martin handles negotiations, drafting, and advisory roles for technology and property transactions. Previous roles include Senior Legal Counsel positions at HCF Australia and QBE Insurance, where Martin focused on technology contracts, and a Head of Legal role at RØDE Microphones. Martin also has substantial experience from a tenure at Foxtel and as a Senior Associate at Corrs Chambers Westgarth, specializing in technology agreements. Martin commenced a legal career as a judge’s associate at the Supreme Court of Western Australia. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from The University of Western Australia and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in History from the University of Sydney.
