Linda Tarplin

Director at The Able Channel

Linda Tarplin is the current director at The Able Channel. Linda has an extensive background in working with various levels of government on health and human service policy priorities. Linda began their career as a legislative assistant to Congressman Bill Frenzel of Minnesota. Linda then went on to work for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services as the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Legislation. In this role, they served as the Department’s chief legislative official on major human service policy priorities before the U.S. Congress. From there, they went on to work as a Special Assistant to the President for Legislative Affairs in The White House. After their time in The White House, they became a partner at OBC Group, where they built and serviced the firm’s health care practice, which included clients in the insurance, biotech, health distribution and management, and large employer sectors. Linda Tarplin is a highly experienced and respected leader in the field of health and human services policy.

Linda Tarplin studied Political Science and Education at the University of Minnesota and later completed an Executive Education Program at Yale University School of Management.
