Meredith Voelkel, MS, CPTD

Meredith Voelkel, MS, CPTD has a diverse work experience in talent and leadership development. Meredith currently serves as the Senior Director of Talent and Leadership Development at The Health Management Academy, where they develop and executes a comprehensive talent development strategy aligned with the organization's goals. Meredith oversees the design, delivery, and evaluation of training programs, leadership development, and performance management initiatives. Prior to this role, they were the Senior Director of Leadership Development at the same company.

Before working at The Health Management Academy, Meredith held positions at the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS). Meredith served as the Senior Manager of Learning Development and Design, where they played a key role in developing and implementing learning programs. Additionally, they worked as the eLearning Program Manager, responsible for managing and coordinating eLearning initiatives within the organization.

In their previous role as the Director of Fellowship Programs at The Health Management Academy, Meredith managed a signature executive leadership development program for rising health system CXOs. Meredith collaborated with leading health system CXOs to support their internal succession planning efforts, designing and facilitating impactful content, workshops, and coaching sessions.

Meredith brings a wealth of experience in talent and leadership development, with a focus on designing and implementing effective learning programs and initiatives.

Meredith Voelkel, MS, CPTD, completed their education at The Catholic University of America from 2011 to 2013, where they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree. Prior to that, they attended Randolph-Macon College from 2007 to 2011 and earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree. In terms of additional certifications, Meredith Voelkel obtained the certification in Association Management from ASAE: The Center for Association Leadership in July 2016. Meredith also became a Certified Virtual Events Producer through Meetings Without Walls in November 2015. Recently, in August 2022, they obtained the Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD) certification from ATD CI - The ATD Certification Institute.
