Camille Morris

Camille Morris has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Camille has worked as a Director of Student Support Services at The Academy Charter School since 2021. Prior to that, they served as an Academic Coach and Principal in Residence at PENINSULA PREPARATORY ACADEMY CHARTER SCHOOL from 2018 to 2021. Before that, they held various roles at The Academy Charter School, including Elementary School Principal, Director of Special Education, and Special Education Teacher from 2011 to 2018. Camille also worked as a Special Education Coordinator at Bronx Lighthouse Charter School from 2010 to 2011, and as an Instructional Specialist at Victory Schools from 2007 to 2011. Camille started their career as the Director of Support Services at Merrick Academy from 2000 to 2007, and prior to that, worked as a Customer Service Rep at Northwest Airlines from 1997 to 1999.

Camille Morris holds a diverse education history. Camille earned a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Management from Alliance University in 1999. Camille furthered their education at Touro University, where they pursued a Master's degree in Elementary/Special Education, which they completed from 2002 to 2004. Later, in 2013, they attended Mercy University and obtained a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, specializing in General Studies. Additionally, Camille graduated from Hillcrest HS in 1985 with a Diploma focused on pre-med.
