Kathleen Gilmartin

Kathleen Gilmartin is an experienced educator and real estate professional, currently teaching at The Academy Charter School since October 2022 and serving as a real estate agent at Coldwell Banker since April 2023. With a robust teaching background that includes roles at Hofstra University, where Kathleen has been involved in the Continuing Education Program since September 2014, and previous positions at Gersh Academy and Baldwin UFSD, Kathleen has extensive expertise in special education and general teaching. Kathleen's career in education began in the New York City Department of Education, where work as a Special Education Teacher spanned from 1996 to 2019. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in STEM from Hofstra University and a Master of Education in Special Education. Additionally, Kathleen holds a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Long Island University.
