Karla Acosta, Ph.D., serves as the Food Safety Manager at The Acheson Group since October 2022 and also holds adjunct faculty positions at the University of South Florida and Conrad N. Hilton College, teaching graduate and undergraduate courses respectively. Previously, Karla Acosta worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Houston and as a Food Safety Specialist, managing food service sanitation inspection programs. The educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Hospitality Administration with a focus on Food Safety Training Research, a Master of Science in Hospitality Management, and a Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management, all obtained from the University of Houston.
