Nikisa George

Nikisa George, Ph.D. currently works as a Project Leader, Sr. at The Aerospace Corporation, providing task lead and technical support for NOAA NESDIS SAE and supporting science activities at NOAA NESDIS STAR. Previously, Nikisa held positions at Northrop Grumman as a Manager in Systems Engineering for IR systems on aircraft platforms and as a Systems Engineer in E/O IR & Microwave RS solutions. Before that, Nikisa worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at JCET, focusing on remote sensing of the atmosphere and aerosol properties. Nikisa holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Sciences from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science & Biology from Bowie State University.
