Terry Ferrett

Terry Ferrett is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in signal processing and project development. Currently serving as a Signal Processing and Estimation Engineer at The Aerospace Corporation since February 2019, Terry previously held the position of Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Lane Department of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering at West Virginia University, where work focused on developing a mesh network for public-safety communications in Puerto Rico. Terry’s background includes a tenure as a Graduate Research Assistant at the WVU Wireless Communications Research Laboratory, as well as a System Administrator role at WVU LCSEE Systems, managing a diverse computing infrastructure. Early career experience includes a Research Engineer position at Innovative Management and Technology Services, contributing to antenna optimization and digital modulation simulations. Terry earned a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from West Virginia University, completing the degree in 2017.
