Dean Cates

Dean Cates is the SVP of Business Development for The Africa Channel. In this role, he is responsible for growing revenue across all TAC business segments. He brings over 15 years of diverse production experience in digital media, entertainment, and in non-profit and for-profit environments. Recent work includes overseeing marketing and communications for PATH (People Assisting the Homeless) a homeless services agency operating throughout California. Dean moved to Los Angeles after earning a Bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing from the University of St. Thomas (Minnesota, not the Virgin Islands).
