Dr. Monica Scott

African American Health Program - Consultant & Instructor at The African American Health Program

Dr. Monica Scott is a highly qualified Lymphedema Consultant and engaging public speaker with extensive experience in physical therapy and wellness education. Currently serving as a course instructor for the MLD-CDT program at the Academy of Lymphatic Studies, Dr. Scott also acts as a consultant and instructor for the African American Health Program, delivering dynamic presentations aimed at improving health through actionable self-care management strategies. Previous roles include founding Homes 4U Realty, working as a Doctor of Physical Therapy with a focus on orthopedic and lymphedema rehabilitation services at Doctor Physical Therapy, and providing physical therapy at both the Visiting Nurse Association of Philadelphia and UPMC Home Health System. Dr. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Pittsburgh and a Post-Professional Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Chatham University, specializing in orthopedics.
