Stephanie van Nortwick

Stephanie (Rogers) Van Nortwick is an accomplished professional currently serving as the Founder of the Tahlequah Chapter of Walk with a Doc, as well as holding roles as a Stephen A Crawford Leadership and Health Policy Fellow with the Oklahoma Academy of Family Physicians and an Albert Schweitzer Fellow in Tulsa. With a background in emergency medical services as a Volunteer EMT and extensive leadership experience in biotechnology at the United States Department of Defense and In-Q-Tel, Stephanie has contributed to biodefense initiatives and health policy advocacy. An academic with a PhD in Plant Pathology and a BS in Biochemistry from Oklahoma State University, Stephanie combines scientific expertise with a commitment to addressing health inequities in underserved communities.
