Phil Cosby

Phil Cosby is the acting principal and CEO at THE ALEC REED ACADEMY. Phil has previously held positions as vice principal development and operations at West London Academy, assistant headteacher at Queensmead School, and head of technology at Barnhill School. Cosby has also worked as a peripatetic special needs teacher for the Hillingdon Education Authority and as a teacher of design technology at Barnhill School.

Phil Cosby has a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and Management from the University of London. Phil also has a Postgraduate Certificate in Employment Law from the University of Surrey, and a National Professional Qualification for Headship from the National College of School Leadership. Additionally, they have a Level 5 NVQ in Management from the Institute of Management, as well as a Certificate in Special Education and Teaching from Middlesex University. Finally, they have a Bachelor of Science in Design Technology from Brunel University, as well as a Certificate in Education from Brunel University.
