Jonathan Downer

Jonathan Downer is a Development Project Manager at Wimbledon - The All England Lawn Tennis Club since October 2017, with a robust background in project management within heritage and infrastructure sectors. Previously, Jonathan held various roles at Lendlease, including Project Manager (Heritage) and Assistant Project Manager (Heritage), successfully delivering significant heritage projects, specializing in Grade 1 and UNESCO World Heritage buildings. Jonathan also served as a Senior Project Leader at the House of Commons, overseeing a £40m renovation of a Grade 2* building, and contributed to the £70m refurbishment program at the Palace of Westminster while working for WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff. Jonathan began the career as an Assistant Design Engineer, supporting architectural projects in Abu Dhabi, and holds a BSc (Hons) in Architectural Engineering from London South Bank University.
