Peace Bakare

Peace Bakare is a Graduate Research Assistant at CyLab-Africa/Upanzi Network, focusing on Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence projects, while also pursuing a Master of Science in Information Technology at Carnegie Mellon University. With a solid background in software engineering, Peace has held various positions including Backend Engineer at The Alternative Bank and Sterling Bank Plc, as well as Frontend Engineer at Doftwerks West Africa Limited. Previous experiences include a role as a Junior ML Engineer at Omdena, contributing to renewable energy projects, and serving as a Financial Inclusion Trainer under the Central Bank of Nigeria during a mandatory Youth Service programme. Peace holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Lagos and continues professional development with SEO (Sponsors for Educational Opportunity).
