Víctor Villafranca

Víctor Villafranca holds a Bachelor's degree in Law from Universidad del Valle de México, and is currently studying a Master's degree in Law at Universidad Anáhuac. He is a legal counsel with over 14 years of experience in international companies such as Grupo Hérdez, Grupo Carso and Stendhal Pharma, with a focus on corporate law, stock exchange, financial law, intellectual property, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and corporate governance best practices. He also has experience with the implementation of compliance programs including data protection, anti-bribery programs, money-laundering prevention and compliance audits. Víctor has written numerous publications for the legal journal "Abogado Corporativo", and is an active member of the Corporate Counsel National Association (ANADE by its acronym in Spanish) since 2010. In 2014, he was included in the top "Corporate Counsel 100 - Latin America" by the international publication "The Legal 500".
