Chris van Raalten

Vice President Operations at AT&F

Chris van Raalten has extensive work experience in the maritime industry. Chris began their career in 1995 as a Ship Superintendent at Detyens Shipyards, Inc., where they managed various commercial ship repair projects and negotiated price contracts. From 2002 to 2004, they served as the General Manager at Charleston Boatworks Inc. Chris then worked as a Project Manager at Detyens Shipyards, Inc. in 2005. Chris joined Royal Caribbean International in the same year, where they worked as the Manager of Marine Operations until 2009. Chris later joined ROYAL CARIBBEAN CRUISE LINE A/S as the Director of Maritime Safety, where they ensured compliance with global and regional maritime safety regulations and led the corporation's Emergency Response Team. Their most recent position was at AT&F, where they held roles including Director- AT&F Marine, Business Unit Leader, and Vice President of Operations.

Chris van Raalten attended the University of Miami School of Business Administration in 2012, where they completed a Leadership Program. In 2007, they studied at the United States Maritime Institute and earned a certification as a Certified Integrated Maritime Auditor. From 1988 to 1992, Chris studied Petroleum Engineering, specifically offshore oil and gas well design, at Nautical Technical College "Noorderhaaks" in The Netherlands.
