Wael Haggag

Wael Haggag is an accomplished finance and operations professional with extensive experience in both higher education and corporate settings. Currently serving as Manager of J-PAL Finance & Operations at The American University in Cairo since October 2020, Wael has previously held roles as Senior Grants & Budget and Senior Accountant at Zewail City of Science and Technology from October 2012 to October 2020, along with a stint as Credit Controller at Schneider Electric from January 2010 to February 2011. Wael holds a degree in Commercial Business Accounting from Modern Academy University and has pursued further education at the University of the District of Columbia. Early education was completed at Port Said Language Schools.
