Raul Cumplido

Raul Cumplido is an experienced software engineer and open-source contributor with a strong background in software development and project management. Currently serving as an Apache Arrow PMC and committer at The Apache Software Foundation and Apache Arrow since December 2022, Raul also holds the position of Senior Software Release Engineer at Voltron Data since April 2022. Previous roles include Senior Software Engineer at YouGov and Crunch.io, Solutions Designer at Tesco Mobile and Telefónica UK, and various engineering positions at Telefónica R&D. Raul has founded a software development consultancy and has a master's degree in Project Management and Computer Technology from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, as well as a master's degree in Computer Science from Université Paris Nanterre.
