Michela Roberts, MPP, currently serves as Development Manager at The Arab Gulf States Institute in Washington since September 2019, following a role as Development Specialist at Bright Beginnings, Inc., where more than $2,500,000 was secured for programming. Previous experience includes MPP Research Consultant for the FBI's Division of Counterterrorism, leading a refugee resettlement program for Yazda, and conducting a graduate research project with the National Security Technology Accelerator. Roberts has also contributed significantly to global health communications during tenure at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, where leadership roles included Communications Lead within the Division of Global HIV/AIDS. Academic credentials include a Master’s Degree in Public Policy from Duke University and a Bachelor of Science in Human Services and Communications from Kennesaw State University, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from Auburn University.
