Marais Wakem

Marais Wakem currently serves as the Inclusion Initiative Manager at The Arc Minnesota since August 2023. Prior to this role, Marais worked as a Program Coordinator at College Possible from August 2021 to September 2022, and as an Inclusion Facilitator for the Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board from May 2021 to September 2022. Marais has also held positions such as Multi Intensive Center Director at STRIVE Prep, Educational Assistant at Denver Public Schools, and Entertainment Team Lead at Mall of America, among other roles. Marais's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in International/Global Studies from the University of Minnesota and a certification in Special Education and Teaching from the University of Colorado.
