Nicholas Hiner-Wakeman

Nicholas Hiner-Wakeman is a skilled Direct Support Professional with experience in providing comprehensive assistance to adults with intellectual disabilities at The Arc of Centre County since April 2019. In this role, Nicholas enhances client independence and community inclusion through the development of daily living, communication, and work skills. Prior to this, Nicholas served as a Barista at Good Day Café, where the focus was on employing individuals with disabilities. Additional experience includes roles at Target, where support was provided for various HR functions, and as a Fellow at CCO Campus Ministry, mentoring Penn State University students. Nicholas began the career journey as a Camp Counselor at Ligonier Camp & Conference Center, ensuring camper safety and fostering a positive environment. Nicholas holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical & Religious Studies from Grove City College.
