Spiros Christoforatos is the current Chief Accounting Officer at The Arena Group. Prior to this, they served as the VP, Controller Entertainment, Venues, MSG Spheres, TAO Group Hospitality for Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp. from April 2018 to October 2021. In this role, they were responsible for the accounting oversight of all Venue Operations, Live Entertainment, TAO Hospitality Group, Boston Calling Entertainment, and MSG Sphere construction and content creation.
From April 2017 to April 2018, Christoforatos served as the Controller, Cable Entertainment for NBCUniversal Media, LLC. Spiros then served as the International Corporate Controller for NBCUniversal Media, LLC from November 2014 to May 2017. Prior to that, they were the Director, SEC Reporting for Comcast NBCUniversal from December 2011 to November 2014.
Before Comcast NBCUniversal, Christoforatos served as the Director, Financial Reporting for W. P. Carey & Co. LLC from May 2011 to December 2011. Spiros began their career in 2007 as the Manager, External Financial Reporting for Viacom before moving to KPMG in 2001 where they served as Audit Manager until 2007.
Spiros Christoforatos has a BBA in Accounting from Hofstra University and a Certification from the NYSSCPA - The New York State Society of CPAs in Certified Public Accountant. Spiros also has a Certification from the AICPA in Aicpa.
