Randy Leonard

Randy Leonard has extensive work experience in various roles related to coatings, restoration, and automotive paint. Randy currently serves as the Plant Manager at TAG (The Armored Group), overseeing the coatings facility. Prior to this, they worked as an Account Manager at AkzoNobel Powder Coatings for five years. Randy also served as the Quality Control Manager at R&R Powder Coating from 2010 to 2016.

Before transitioning to the coatings industry, Randy worked as the Restoration Manager at Classic Cars of the Carolinas, where they managed the restoration process for a private collection of classic cars. Randy handled tasks such as planning, tear-down, parts ordering, painting, and final assembly of the vehicles. Randy also supervised employees and transported vehicles to shows.

Randy's earlier experience includes serving as the Body Shop Foreman at Sonny Hancock Collision and as the Owner of Quarter Mile Graphics, an automotive custom paint shop specializing in airbrush work, custom pinstriping, and special effect graphics. Randy'swork at Quarter Mile Graphics gained recognition with features in national and international magazines and various awards for the best paint jobs and appearances.

Randy began their career at Freightliner in 1982, where they held the position of Supervisor in the Paint Department for over two decades, until 2003.
