Katherine Hardy

Katherine Hardy is an experienced Picture Editor with a robust background in illustration and visual communications. Currently serving as Picture Editor at The Art Newspaper since January 2012 and previously at Critical Edge from January 2022 to June 2024, Katherine has also worked as an Illustrator for Oskar illustration between June 2019 and November 2023. Earlier career roles include Account Executive at The Gate London, where responsibilities focused on print and digital advertising in the financial sector, and Creative Assistant at BBH London, contributing to pitch processes and image sourcing. Katherine's illustration expertise was further developed as Head Illustrator and picture researcher at Unlocked Guides from May 2008 to March 2010. Katherine holds a Master of Arts in Design and Visual Communications from the Royal College of Art, earned between 2005 and 2007.
