Mary Kay Hyde-Bohn

Mary Kay Hyde-Bohn has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Mary Kay currently serves as the Director of Communications for The Association of Continuity Professionals, Colorado Rocky Mountain Chapter, where they are responsible for coordinating and disseminating information to chapter members, the community, students, and sponsors. Prior to this, Mary Kay worked as a Senior Partner at Business Continuity Partners of the West (BCPW). Mary Kay also held various positions at PMI, Mile Hi Chapter, including Librarian and Academic Outreach Director. Additionally, Mary Kay has volunteered at Northern Colorado Networking (NoCoNet), where they served as the Co-President, and served on the Leadership Team, Special Projects & Outreach. Mary Kay also worked as a Support Team member at Character Ft. Collins. Before their involvement in these organizations, Mary Kay worked at IBM for several years, holding roles such as Program/Project Manager, Web Master, and Global & USA Service Planning. Their earlier work experience also includes a role as a Product Manager at American Business Lists/InfoUSA.

Mary Kay Hyde-Bohn has a diverse education history. In 1973, they obtained a BS in Health & Physical Education from the University of South Dakota. Mary Kay later pursued a MEd in Adult Education and Business from the University of Minnesota from 1990 to 1993. In 1997 to 1999, they attended The George Washington University School of Business and received a Masters Certificate in Project Management. In 2014, Mary Kay Hyde-Bohn furthered their education with a Masters Certificate in Risk Management & Organizational Continuity from Boston University. Additionally, they have obtained certifications including an Associate Business Continuity Professional from the Disaster Recovery Institute International in September 2015, and a Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute in August 2000.
