John Matemane

John Matemane is an experienced professional in the field of data management and clinical data leadership, currently serving as a Clinical Data Team Lead at PPD since January 2022. Prior to this role, John has held multiple positions at The Aurum Institute since January 2012, including Data Manager-Strategic Information, Senior Data Monitor, and Data Monitor. Earlier experience includes a position as a New Business Officer at Nedbank in 2008. John holds a Programme in Strategic Management & Corporate Governance from the University of South Africa, a Higher Certificate in Management from FPD Business School, and is currently pursuing a MicroMaster’s in Data, Economics, and Development Policy at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, alongside additional studies in Lean Six Sigma and Monitoring and Evaluation.
