Nicole Bell

Nicole Bell has extensive experience in the field of physics, currently serving as President and Vice President of The Australian Institute of Physics since 2021. Nicole is also the Theory Program Leader at the ARC Centre of Excellence for Dark Matter Particle Physics and has held various academic roles at the University of Melbourne since 2007, including Professor, Associate Professor, and Senior Lecturer. From 2011 to 2019, Nicole was a Chief Investigator at the ARC Centre of Excellence for Particle Physics at the Terascale. Prior academic positions include Sherman Fairchild Postdoctoral Scholar at the California Institute of Technology and Research Associate in Theoretical Astrophysics at Fermilab. Nicole earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Physics and a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Physics from the University of Melbourne.
