Rakesh Solanki

Rakesh Solanki is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as the General Manager of Supply Chain Services at Powerlink Queensland since April 2018, where strategic direction is provided for procurement and supply chain functions. Rakesh has held various leadership roles within Powerlink, including Acting General Manager of Infrastructure Delivery and General Manager of Design Solutions, focusing on capital investment projects and design solutions for infrastructure. Additionally, Rakesh serves as a Board Member for The Australian Power Institute, representing major Australian power companies. Previous positions include Commercial Manager at Adani Renewables, Operations Manager at Zinfra Group, and project management roles at Jemena Asset Management and the Fiji Electricity Authority. Rakesh holds an Executive MBA and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Queensland University of Technology.
