Jacinta Price

Jacinta Price is a prominent political figure and educator with extensive experience in public service and cultural consultation. Currently serving as Deputy Mayor and Councillor for Alice Springs Town Council since October 2015, Jacinta also holds the position of Director of Indigenous Research at the Centre for Independent Studies since June 2019. As a political commentator for Australian News Channel (Sky News) and a contributor to The Australian since August 2016, Jacinta provides insights on political and social issues. Previously, Jacinta served as Executive Director of Yangapi Productions, an Aboriginal company focused on educational Indigenous-themed media, from August 2014 to June 2019.
