Joseph Krygier

Joseph Krygier is a Senior Lecturer at The Ohio State University, where responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate percussion lessons, co-directing the OSU Percussion Ensemble, serving as an accompanist for the OSU Department of Dance, and handling graphic design and communications for the OSU School of Music. Additionally, Krygier has been an Educational Endorser for the Avedis Zildjian Company since 2005, promoting products and providing educational information. Previous experience includes serving as a Section Percussionist for the Civic Orchestra of Chicago and performing under renowned conductors at prestigious venues such as Orchestra Hall and Carnegie Hall. Krygier is also a former Musician and Technical Sergeant with the United States Air Force. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Music in Percussion Performance from the Eastman School of Music and a Master of Music in Percussion Performance from Northwestern University.
