Lu Yu

Lu Yu currently serves as the Deputy Manager of the Mass Spectrometry Facility at The Babraham Institute since May 2022 and holds the position of Senior Scientific Officer at The Institute of Cancer Research since September 2017. Previous experience includes roles as a Senior Staff Scientist at Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute from January 2004 to August 2017, a Research Scientist at Cellzome UK from 2001 to 2003, and a Research Scientist at GSK from 1999 to 2001. Additionally, Lu Yu was a visitor at the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST) in 1994-1995 and worked as a Research Associate at Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry, CAS from 1988 to 1994. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Biological Mass Spectrometry from UMIST (1995-1999), an MSc in Analytical Chemistry from Fudan University (1985-1988), and a BSc in Chemistry from Fudan University.
