Steve Castle, FCA.

Steve Castle, FCA has extensive experience in the financial and insurance sectors. Steve began their career in 1985 at AIG as the UK and European Group Finance Director. In 1995, they moved to CIGNA/ACE in a similar role. In 1998, they co-founded Sort/mPower Europe and served as Owner, Managing Director. In 2002, they joined RBS INSURANCE (incl. Direct Line & Churchill) as Group Finance Director and was involved in the acquisition of the Churchill Group in 2003. In 2005, they co-founded ABC Insurance Solutions and served as Co-Founder, Owner & Finance Director. In 2006, they joined the Liverpool Victoria General Insurance Group (LVGIG) as Group Finance Director. In 2016, they founded DataCave and served as Founder & CEO. That same year, they also joined ABC Investors as a Partner & Angel Investor. In 2017, they became a Strategic Adviser for Nuggets. Finally, they are a Strategic Adviser and Non Executive Director for The Baobab Network.

Steve Castle, FCA, attained their Chartered Accountant status with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England & Wales (ICAEW) after training with Touche Ross & Co (London). Steve also holds a Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) certification. Theireducational background also includes a Bachelor of Science (BSc) - 2:1 Honours Degree in Biochemistry from Royal Holloway, University of London, which they obtained between 1976 and 1979, as well as A Levels in Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics from Brockenhurst 6th Form College, which they obtained between 1974 and 1976.
