Matthew Wallace

Matthew Wallace is an experienced educator specializing in Engineering, Design, and Technology. Currently serving as a Teacher of Engineering and Hospitality and Head of D&T and Creative Arts at The Basildon Academies since September 2019, Matthew has previously held leadership positions including Head of Arts/D&T faculty at Newton International Academy and Head of Technology Department at All Saints School. Additional roles include serving as an Examiner for Design & Technology with Edexcel and Subject Leader for Design & Technology at St Catherine's School. Matthew's educational background includes a degree in Design & Technology from Goldsmiths, University of London, and an Engineering Foundation degree from City University London. Prior to entering education, Matthew worked as a Junior Tax Advisor at Daly, Hoggett & Co.
