Sonja Šimunec

Sonja Šimunec has a diverse work experience spanning over several years in various roles. In 2008, they began their career as an intern at Agencija Oglasnik and continued working there until 2010. In 2011, they joined Phoenix Pharma as an Assistant to the Director of Finance and Accounting for a brief period. Simultaneously, from 2011 to 2013, they worked as a Consultant at Colliers International. Subsequently, in 2014, they became an Expansion Project Manager at Kaufland / Schwarz Gruppe GmbH. In the same year, they also worked as a Consultant at Peris d.o.o. In 2015, Šimunec began their tenure at adidas, initially working as a Senior Project Manager Real Estate Western Europe Markets. From 2017 to 2022, they held the position of Senior Manager Real Estate Europe. Most recently, in 2020, they founded their own company called The Bitery.

Sonja Šimunec studied at the University of Applied Science VERN` from 2006 to 2010. Sonja obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree with a focus on Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies.
